COVID-19 vaccine importance for U.S. children to play in organized sports in 2020
The COVID-19 pandemic that spread across the world at the beginning of 2020 was not only a big threat to public health, but also to the entire youth and amateur sports industry. During a May 2020 survey in the United States, some 54 percent of respondents stated that it was very important that a vaccine for COVID-19 became more widely available before their children started competing in organized sports again.
