As of 2023, the shipment volume of 5G smartphones in China stood at around 240 million units. Since the introduction of 5G into the smartphone market in the third quarter of 2019, the smartphone consumer base has already undergone a transition from 4G to 5G network technology. Now, that market saturation has set in and consumers feel the economic impact of two years of zero-covid policies, sales numbers have decreased compared to the previous year.
