According to a survey by Rakuten Insight on online gaming, about 38.31 percent of female and 30.85 percent of male Vietnamese respondents stated that they made in-game purchases to advance to the next level or to continue playing the game. In the same survey, the majority of online gamers indicated that they played online games daily.
