According to a survey by Rakuten Insight on online gaming in 2022, about 45 percent of Vietnamese respondents aged between 16 and 24 years stated that one gaming session lasted between one to two hours. In the same survey, the majority of online gamers indicated that they played online games daily.

792 respondents aged 16 to 24 years,
899 respondents aged 25 to 34 years,
454 respondents aged 35 to 44 years,
113 respondents aged 45 to 54 years and
32 respondents aged 55 years and older.

Other surveyed countries included China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Taiwan.
