From March 9 to March 15, 2020, amidst the COVID-19 outbreak, sales of cleaning products on online marketplace Mercado Libre increased by over 219 percent in Mexico comapred to the week from February 24 to March 1, 2020. Moreover, sales of disposables increased by more than 100 percent.
