Financial strain of youth sports for families in the U.S. 2020
There are many ways of children to stay active, including joining sports teams, participating in recreational leagues, or taking part in school sports. However, these hobbies often do not come cheap and, during a May 2020 survey in the United States, 10 percent of respondents strongly agreed that their child's participation in sports was a financial strain for the family.
