Leading value for money options for student housing in the United Kingdom 2019
According to a survey conducted among almost 31 thousand students in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2019, occupying a private property rented from a landlord alone or with a partner presented the best value for money. The least popular option by value for money, chosen by 42 percent of respondents, was renting a room with an en-suite bathroom, within university operated halls. Other factors that influenced the choice of housing were overall cost and cleanliness of a bedroom.
