Prevalence rate of panic buying during coronavirus in Hong Kong 2020

According to a survey on consumer behavior during coronavirus outbreak conducted by Rakuten Insight in April 2020, panic buying was not very common in Hong Kong. About 35 percent of the respondents from Hong Kong admitted that they had engaged in panic buying, stocking up mostly on dry food items and medical supplies.
