As per the results of a large scale survey in 2021, over 60 percent of Indian women and 46 percent Indian men were found to be unhealthy. The health risk assessment took into account multiple health aspects like nutrition, lifestyle, physical activity levels, immunity, disease affliction and others to draw this conclusion. Overall, the south Asian country had a high share of people with diabetes and heart problems.
