Five weeks into the coronavirus crisis in Sweden, in week 14, a total number of 25,350 people registered as unemployed. This was the largest number of new registrations during the time under consideration. Among these unemployed individuals, 16,932 were Swedish-born, while 6,040 were born outside of Europe. For people born in other European countries, the number of new registrations amounted to 2,478.
