Natural gas transported through Nord Stream pipeline 2013-2021

In 2021, the volume of natural gas transported from Russia to Germany via the pipeline Nord Stream, or Nord Stream-1, reached 59.2 billion cubic meters, exceeding the annual capacity by 4.2 billion cubic meters. The utilization rate of Nord Stream has steadily increased since 2013, when it was measured at approximately 43 percent of the yearly capacity.
