According to a December 2020 survey of U.S. adults, only 7 percent of respondents aged 18 to 34 felt very comfortable with tech companies sharing their location data, including where they had traveled, with the government so that the government could better track Americans' locations. Overall, 41 percent of 18 to 34 year old respondents felt very uncomfortable with this idea.
