Brazil: new jobs or job losses in restaurants and bars 2020-2021
In March 2021, nearly 27 jobs in restaurants and bars located in Brazil were lost, after a four-month period of moderate recovery in this sector. Between March and August 2020, more than 250 thousand jobs in this type of establishments had been lost due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the country. In that period, April was the month with the highest number of job losses, with roughly 97 thousand.
