According to a survey conducted by JobPricing in Italy in 2023, a fixed salary ranked first among the main aspects considered when changing a job. In fact, seven in ten surveyed employees would leave their current workplace for a more stable salary. 46 percent of the interviewees would change their profession for better career opportunities, while one third of them considered relevant a good work-life balance for getting a new position. Less common reasons for leaving a job were a better working space and non-monetary benefits.
