According to a survey by Rakuten Insight in April 2022, it revealed that around 56 percent of Thai online gamers aged between 25 to 34 years played online games on a daily basis. The survey also explored the average time spent on one session of online gaming and it revealed that Thai respondents spent mostly around one to two hours playing one session of online games.

The survey was conducted among 7,475 female and 3,979 male respondents. Other surveyed countries included China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam.
