Meanwhile, establishments in the economy and mid-range categories recorded the highest occupancy rate of hotels in Paris that year, at over 80 percent. 

Paris vs. other European destinations

When looking at the number of tourist arrivals in European cities, Paris ranked first in 2022, ahead of London and Istanbul. The French capital then placed second in the list of the leading European city destinations based on the number of bed nights in 2022, while London took the top spot.
