Throughout March 2020, during the COVID-19 outbreak, only two sectors in Latin America increased the number of posts they made on Twitter compared to March of the previous year: governments (5.76 percent) and the publishing industry (8.64 percent). The biggest fall was registered in the consumer goods sector with nearly 54.5 percent less tweets.
