This statistic represents the main reasons why French shoppers would prefer to buy in-store in 2019, by age group. Thus, 79 percent of the older generations did not hesitate to go to the store when they had time, and this much more than the Gen Z and Millennials. Consumers of previous generations also preferred to test products before buying, with 57 percent of the respondents stating not buying without having seen and touched the product beforehand.
