On May 10, 2020, it was reported that the British government were going to change their official coronavirus slogan to 'Stay alert, Control the virus, Save lives.' Although, there is some confusion as to the clarity of the new slogan, as 63 percent of survey respondents in Great Britain reported that only the old slogan, 'Stay home, Protect the NHS, Save lives,' makes it clear what they are supposed to do to stay healthy during the coronavirus pandemic.
