The gross gaming revenue (GGR) of the online gambling market in Italy increased in 2022 over the previous year. Overall, card games and fixed odd games recorded the highest figure in 2022, with a GGR of roughly two billion euros, rising from around 1.77 billion euros in 2021. Meanwhile, the GGR of online sports betting passed from nearly 1.1 billion euros in 2020 to 1.46 billion euros in 2022.
