This was a decrease from January 2020, in which the investment index score was 45.9 in across the Asia Pacific region.

The Index is normalized to a 0 to 100-point range with “50” representing the historical median. Index values are calculated by utilizing data from individual survey question results.
The index reflects respondent perceptions regarding the current financial situation, future financial situation, major purchase comfort, household purchase confidence, and investment confidence within their country.
