Viewership of Swedish-speaking Twitch channels after the coronavirus outbreak 2020
After the coronavirus outbreak, the number of viewers of Swedish speaking Twitch channels steadily increased. In February 2020, roughly 92 thousand people watched Swedish channels of the gaming related platform. Three months later, the viewership number amounted to over 115 thousand. In June, the amount slightly decreased again to roughly 113.8 thousand viewers. The first coronavirus case in Sweden was confirmed on February 4, 2020.
