Quibi launched on April 6, 2020 in the United States and Canada, and on that day the app was downloaded 300 thousand times. By April 13 this number had grown to 1.7 million, higher than the 1.5 million analysts had previously predicted.
Quibi is a mobile-only streaming service available on tablets and smartphones and streams short-form content, or clips which are ten minutes in length or shorter.
