According to a survey conducted by the Nippon Research Center in February 2020, about 19 percent of Japanese women aged 15 to 29 years old liked simulation video games. The genre, which includes titles such as SimCity and Nobunaga's Ambition, showed an almost equally high popularity among women in their thirties.
