According to a survey conducted by Ipsos, the consolidated jobs index for India for April 2020 was 55.8, a decrease from the previous month. However, the global average for April 2020 was 52.6, indicating a more positive outlook of the current and future job scenario for Indians.
The jobs index reflects respondent perceptions regarding job security, job loss experience, and job loss expectation within their country.
