In 2019, 36 percent of retailers expected to have more stores than they did in 2018. A further 57 percent of respondents stated that they thought they would have the same number of stores as 2018.
By the end of 2019, which of the following do you most expect for your company regarding your total number of stores?
*Fifty-five percent of survey respondents were employees of traditional brick-and-mortar retailers with web divisions or branded manufacturers with largely wholesale businesses. Another 45% were pure plays or online retailers.
Fifty-nine percent of respondents were at the VP level or above in their organization. Another 23% described themselves as C-suite leaders. Additionally, 48% of respondents were part of their company’s eCommerce or marketing teams.
