A survey of Indonesian consumer behavior during Ramadan in 2020 found that 62 percent of the respondents planned their Ramadan shopping beforehand. During Ramadan, there is usually an increase in spending among Indonesian Muslims. This is driven in part by the 13th month salary that every employee receives.
