As of April 13, 2020, 91 percent of U.S. consumers reported that they would be willing to resume at least some level of in-store shopping one there were no new COVID-19 cases in the United States. Almost two-thirds of respondents would be willing to visit local shops again as soon as the government had removed the restrictions. Four percent of respondents stated that because of the COVID-19 pandemic, they would never go out shopping again, even after "normal" times had returned.
