ROE of banking industry in Mexico 2015-2022
The return on equity of the banking industry in Mexico fluctuated considerably between 2015 and 2022. In 2020, the banking industry in Mexico reported a return on equity of approximately nine percent, down from nearly 15.5 percent in 2019. This was the lowest return on equity in the observed period. By 2022, however, the Mexican banking industry stabilized and reported a ROE of 17.46 percent.
