Attitudes towards NHS prescription charges among health workers in England 2019
According to a survey carried in England in 2019, it was found that 31 percent of healthcare professionals strongly opposed the current NHS prescription charge which is nine pounds per item, while a further 31 percent somewhat opposed it. On the other hand, 33 percent of health workers supported to some extent the current prescription charge.
