Marketing budget change due to the coronavirus pandemic in Norway 2020
How much will the marketing communication budget change in Norway due to the coronavirus outbreak? According to a survey among Norwegian advertisers from May to June 2020, not even a half of the respondents expected to decrease the budget for the second quarter of 2020. 23 percent of them indicated a decline of less than 25 percent, while seven percent stated to decrease the marketing budget by 50 to 25 percent. By contrast, 14 percent of the advertisers will increase their spending compared to 2019, and more than two thirds forecast no changes in their marketing communication budget.
