Acceptability of corruption in Romania in 2019

More than 35 percent of respondents felt that giving a gift, money, or doing a favor in return for public service was totally acceptable. Of the three objective elements of the bribery offense, giving a gift in exchange for a public service seemed to be the most acceptable for Romanian respondents.
