Between January 2018 and January 2019, French retail stores sold 165.3 million kilograms of ice cream. After a 4.6 percentage points decrease the following period, sales picked up again. Between January 2020 and January 2021, 171.8 million kilograms of ice cream were sold in retail stores across the nation.
