The ratio increased for the first time after 2019. This number indicates that there were about one and a half job openings available for every university student graduating in 2023.

The figures are based on a survey that is conducted on a yearly basis from January to March. The ratio of each year is based on the survey result of the previous year, as students are interviewed one year before their graduation.
In 2022, the survey part regarding university students was conducted online from February 1 to 7 and gathered responses from 1,088 undergraduate as well as 345 graduate students. The survey part regarding companies was initially conducted via phone and fax from January 27 to March 4, 2022 among 4,154 companies with a minimum of five employees.
