Share of U.S. adults who had seen a therapist during COVID-19 pandemic, Jan. 2021

A poll of U.S. adults conducted from January 25 to 26, 2021, found that about 37 percent of millennials had seen a therapist, either virtually or in person, at some point during the COVID-19 pandemic. In comparison, only 16 percent of baby boomers had seen a therapist since the pandemic began. This statistic shows the percentage of U.S. adults who stated they had seen a therapist (whether virtually or in person) at some point during the COVID-19 pandemic as of January 2021, by generation.
