Profit after tax for Kent RO Systems Limited FY 2016-2018

Kent RO Systems Limited made a net profit of 1,518 million Indian rupees in the financial year 2019. Mr. Mahesh Gupta along with his family started Kent RO Systems Limited in 1999. Initially the company manufactured water purifiers only by using reverse osmosis technology. Being a pioneer of reverse osmosis technology in India, it had a dominant market share in the water purifier industry. In 2007, the nature of the organization changed from a partnership company to a closely held public limited company. It had two manufacturing plants, located in the state of Uttarakhand and the organization expanded its technology base. It not only manufactured reverse osmosis type water purifiers, but also ultraviolet and gravity technology type. Apart from water purifiers, it later forayed into fruit and vegetable purifiers, air purifiers, water softeners, vacuum cleaners, and juicers. A small amount of revenue was also generated from the overseas market.
