A survey from March 2020 asked Italian individuals if they miss going to the cinema, the theater and to music gigs during the coronavirus (COVID-19) emergency. Data reveal that these activities were missed by about seven in ten Generation Z respondents, namely people aged between 18 and 25 years. By contrast, roughly four in ten Millennials who took part in the survey claimed to miss cinema, theater or music gigs. The source defines the generations based on the following age groups:
Generation Z: 18-25 years Millennials: 26-45 years Generation X: 46-55 years Baby Boomers: 56 years and over
The survey question was based on a rating scale from 1 to 6, with 1 being the lowest value. This statistic gathers the share of respondents who answered either 5 (strongly agree) or 6 (totally agree).
