A survey on Singapore gamers in 2020 found that 36 percent of those who played games on a gaming console regularly spent on average more than 25 Singapore dollars a month on in-game purchases. However, the same survey found that consoles were the least preferred video game platforms among Singapore gamers. The majority preferred to game on their mobile phones.
