Children and old-age dependency ratio in Taiwan 1960-2060
In 2022, the child and old-age dependency ratio in Taiwan ranged at around 17.2 and 25 percent respectively, summing up to a total dependency ratio of 42.2 percent. While the child dependency ratio is expected to remain stable, the old-age dependency ratio will rise steadily in coming decades.
