Founded in 2014, the UK-headquartered digital bank was not only the first app-only bank in the UK, but also the first online-only bank to be granted a full UK regulatory license. As seen with other disruptor banks, Atom Bank saw total losses before and after tax in the year ending March 2023. Nevertheless, the total assets of the bank stood at a massive 7.8 billion British pounds at the end of the year.
