According to the government's Hydrogen Economy Roadmap announced in 2019, South Korea plans to install 1,200 hydrogen refueling stations and produce 6.2 million fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) by 2040. Focused on FCEV and full cell for power generation, South Korea is aiming to achieve a future advanced hydrogen economy.
