Gaming behavior during the coronavirus lockdown in Italy 2020, by macro-region
A survey from April 2020 asked Italians if the coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown influenced their gaming behavior. Data reveal that about five in ten respondents from the Islands believed to have spent more time playing with video games than usually. In particular, 18 percent of interviewees claimed that the time dedicated to video games increased significantly. Similarly, almost five in ten respondents from the South stateted that the gaming time increased during the lockdown.
