Gamer bot usage rate in the U.S. 2020, by gender
Gaming bots are used by some video gamers in order to try to gain an advantage against the game or fellow players. Bots can be used, for example, to analyze maps, auto-aim weapons, or automate repetitive tasks. In a 2020 survey carried out by Adjust, 72 percent of mobile gamers who have claimed to have used a bot in the past were male.
