Companies in the medical equipment manufacturing industry in Brazil 2014-2020
In 2020, the number of companies in the Brazilian medical equipment manufacturing industry amounted to 1,928, up from 1,895 medical equipment firms reported a year earlier. Compared to 2014, the number of medical equipment companies increased by about 14 percent. Moreover, more than 60 thousand people were employed in the production of medical equipment in the South American country.
