According to a survey, around 77.8 percent of South Korean respondents agreed to the idea of using electronic wristbands to track coronavirus (COVID-19) patients who defy self-quarantine guidelines and go out without permission. About 16.5 percent of the respondents disagreed with the concerns about human rights violations. Currently, the South Korean government is considering asking those who break the quarantine rules to wear electronic wristbands. As of April 21, South Korea confirmed 10,683 cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) infections including 237 deaths.
