Number of lower secondary schools in Norway 2012-2022

The number of lower secondary schools in Norway was almost the same in 2022 as 10 years earlier. However, the number was slightly higher in some years over the time period considered. In Norway, primary education is usually divided between seven years of primary school followed by three years of lower secondary education, which the pupils usually start the year they turn 13.
