The fitness industry in Poland is currently experiencing a collapse due to the necessity of a lockdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. If the return to the activity of sports and recreation clubs takes place before 1 May 2020 (scenario 1), the total loss of revenues of the fitness industry will amount to 1.65 billion zloty in 2020, which will constitute a decrease of 39 percent compared to the previous year.
