The coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in Russia fuelled the retail sales growth of personal hygiene products in the country. The highest sales growth rates for both hand sanitizers and skin antiseptics were recorded during mid-March. In the following weeks, the sales growth rates relatively decreased, yet measuring at significantly elevated rates compared to the equivalent period of the previous year.
