Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, all Serie A soccer games in Italy were suspended in March 2020 and then eventually played between June and August. This situation had a significant impact on the market value of all Serie A soccer clubs. As of October 2020, this scenario improved for some clubs, while others still recorded a decrease in the market value compared to April 2020. For instance, the value of Juventus FC dropped by roughly nine percent. The club from Turin was still one of the most valuable Serie A teams, but its market value went down significantly due to the impact of the coronavirus. Moreover, Parma Calcio 1913 recorded the highest percentage decrease. Its market value dropped by about 29 percent in October, compared to the figure recorded on April 1, 2020.
