The outbreak and following measures made it hard for several industries to survive. The highest number of dismissals in April 2020 was within the manufacturing industry, where the number amounted to over 4,500. The water supply and waste management industry had the lowest number of dismissals, with only 42 over the whole period. As of June 2024, the number of dismissals was 4,500.
